RTE law does not provide schools only on paper, admission to poor children!

When the RTI Act is implemented with the intention of providing good education to poor and disadvantaged children, many schools of Ahmedabad have come out against the reality that the poor and deprived groups are not ready to give admission to the children.

While the state government has decided to give admission to more than one lakh children under the RTE this year, admission has been given to 8,0189 students in the first round, but when the guardians arrive for admission in the school, admission is denied due to the admission by the schools.

Many schools in the city were refused admission to the schools, on the other hand complaints were being asked by many schools for fees. Parents performed at the DEO office, but they did not get any satisfactory answer. It is now time to see if DEO takes any action against the school
